Short version: We don’t store the text you submit for analysis. We don’t sell your data. We use minimal analytics to understand site traffic. That’s it.
Information We Collect
When you use Original AI Checker, we may collect the following categories of information:
- Usage data — pages visited, time on site, referring URLs, and general browsing behavior collected via analytics cookies.
- Device & browser data — browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and IP address (anonymized where possible).
- Voluntary contact information — if you contact us via email, we receive the address and message content you provide.
We do not require account registration and do not collect names, email addresses, or personal identifiers as part of normal tool use.
How We Use Information
Information collected is used solely for the following purposes:
- Operating and improving the detection tool and website
- Understanding aggregate traffic patterns to prioritize development
- Diagnosing technical errors and performance issues

Text Submissions & Analysis
Text you paste into the detection tool is transmitted securely to our analysis server for processing. This text is not stored, logged, or retained after analysis is complete. Results are returned to your browser session only and are not saved on our servers.
We do not use submitted text to train machine learning models, and we do not share submitted content with third parties for any purpose. Text is processed in memory and discarded after the analysis response is returned.
If you are working with highly sensitive or legally privileged documents, we recommend submitting representative excerpts or anonymized versions rather than full confidential texts through any web-based analysis tool.
Cookies & Tracking
We use a minimal set of cookies to operate the site and understand traffic patterns:
- Essential cookies — required for basic site functionality (e.g., WordPress session management). Cannot be disabled without breaking site features.
- Analytics cookies — used to collect aggregate, anonymized data about site usage. We use Google Analytics or a privacy-focused alternative. You can opt out via your browser settings or a browser extension such as uBlock Origin.
We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels, or tracking technologies for cross-site behavioral profiling.
Third-Party Services
The following third-party services may process limited data as part of normal site operation:
- Google Fonts — font files are loaded from Google’s CDN. Google may log the request. See Google’s privacy policy for details.
- Google Analytics — aggregate, anonymized traffic data. IP anonymization is enabled. Data is retained for 14 months.
- Hosting provider — our hosting infrastructure may retain standard server access logs (IP, timestamp, resource requested) for up to 30 days for security purposes.
We do not embed advertising networks, social media trackers, or affiliate tracking pixels on this site.
Data Retention
- Submitted text: not retained — discarded immediately after analysis
- Server access logs: up to 30 days, then auto-deleted
- Analytics data: 14 months via Google Analytics
- Email correspondence: retained until the matter is resolved, then deleted
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding personal data we hold:
- Right to access data we hold about you
- Right to correction of inaccurate data
- Right to erasure (“right to be forgotten”)
- Right to object to processing
- Right to data portability

This service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
