Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Original AI Checker (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
These terms apply to all visitors, users, and anyone who accesses or uses the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age.
Description of Service
Original AI Checker provides an AI content detection tool that analyzes text and returns a probabilistic score indicating the likelihood that the text was generated by an AI language model. The Service includes:
- Free-tier analysis returning an aggregate AI probability score
- Full report functionality showing sentence-level analysis and model identification
- Informational content about AI detection methodology
Important: AI detection is a probabilistic technology, not a definitive proof of authorship. Scores should be treated as one data point among many, not as conclusive evidence. We make no guarantee that the Service will accurately identify AI-generated or human-written content in all cases.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. Acceptable uses include:
- Checking your own writing or content you have rights to analyze
- Educational assessment of submissions in an academic context
- Editorial quality review by publishers and content managers
- Personal research into AI detection capabilities and limitations
Prohibited Uses
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Submit content containing personally identifiable information of third parties without their consent
- Systematically scrape, crawl, or automate requests to the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract proprietary detection methods
- Use detection results as sole or definitive evidence in formal disciplinary proceedings without corroborating review
- Submit content that violates applicable law, including copyrighted material you are not authorized to use
- Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Service
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- Detection results will be accurate, complete, or reliable in any specific instance
- Defects will be corrected
- The Service is free of viruses or other harmful components
AI detection technology has known limitations including false positives on non-native English writing, reduced accuracy on heavily edited AI content, and varying performance across different AI models.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
This includes but is not limited to damages arising from: reliance on detection results; academic or professional consequences based on analysis scores; loss of data; or service interruptions.
Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, detection methodology, and written content, is owned by Original AI Checker and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain all rights to content you submit for analysis. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, transient license to process it for the sole purpose of returning analysis results to you. This license expires immediately upon completion of analysis.
Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
